Gait Analysis Workshop

This workshop offers insight into why we’re walking or running the way we do. It will have a combination of lectures and practical presentations to help participants understand the deviations of the gait. Video and motion capture instrumentation will be covered and participants will learn how to systematically capture, analyse and interpret the gait analysis.

Dr Viswanath Sundar

Works as a Senior Sports Biomechanist at National Sports Institute of Malaysia. He received his PhD in Sports Science (Sports Biomechanics) from Bharathidasan University. His main research focuses on various aspects of human movement including sport performance assessment and clinical biomechanics.
